Before joining Buyer’s Rate Mortgage, he closed more than $40 million in funded loans at an Austin fintech lender. He also ranked among the top performers at several of Austin’s leading lending companies. Earlier in his career, Greg built and ran his own business in France. That background gives him a practical understanding of complex financial decisions and of what’s at stake for the people making them. Greg holds an MBA, is fluent in French and German, and is active in the Austin community through the Travis County Medical Alliance. His approach is simple: understand what each client needs, explain every option clearly, and find the loan that fits.

Clay Byrne is a native of Austin, Texas, with 29 years of experience in the Austin real estate market and more than $1 billion in career transaction volume. He founded Byrne Real Estate Group and built Buyer’s Rate Mortgage so that clients’ agent and lender work from the same plan, with no gaps and no handoffs. Clay is known for high-level service and deep knowledge of the Austin market, and he has helped countless families through the complexities of buying a home.
